PyConUS, the largest annual gathering of the Python programming community organized by the Python Software Foundation (PSF), brings together developers, enthusiasts, and organizations from around the world to connect, learn, and share knowledge about Python. In October 2023, I was excited to be part of my third PyConUS.
In addition to my design and project management work for the PSF, I volunteered at the PSF booth, which was a great opportunity to engage with the community directly. I also chaired the Online Experience (OX) team, where I worked with 10 incredible volunteers to manage the online platform. With some prior experience setting up similar platforms, I helped configure the infrastructure on Hubilo to support the virtual side of the event.

PyLadiesCon is a global conference organized by PyLadies, a mentorship-driven community focused on supporting and empowering women and gender minorities in the Python programming ecosystem. The event provides a platform for attendees to connect, learn, and share knowledge about Python, while also fostering diversity and inclusion in tech.
As part of the main organizing team for PyLadiesCon for the second year, I took on the role of Design Chair. I was responsible for creating and managing the event's design assets, including social media graphics, and overseeing all aspects of video production to ensure a cohesive and engaging visual experience.

Japan is at risk of losing its rich traditions—from forestry and farming to carpentry. Young people are drawn to technology over artisanal knowledge. Kei and Feilang, the founders of Roots, reached out for help.
Over a month of hard work together, we developed business strategies that promote sustainable tourism, protect the natural landscape, and open doors for the next generation.Their very first version of their website was also created during this period. Today, their business is stronger than ever, drawing a new wave of locals to the mountains of Keihoku.

I'm a supporter of open-source projects.They deserve solid design, just like any good work. When David Lord, the lead maintainer of the Pallets project, asked me to redesign the logos for all the projects, I said yes without a moment's doubt.
The work was very challenging. Each project had its own story. Uniting them into one design was a challenge. In the end, I followed David’s lead. The final logos and font choices fit their visions for the projects.

PyCon US 2023 Salt Lake City
In 2023, PyCon US celebrated its 20th anniversary—a milestone that called for a design as meaningful as the conference’s rich history. The conference chair and director envisioned a creative approach to honor this legacy, blending past and present themes into a cohesive and impactful design.
To bring this vision to life, we collaborated with Thailand’s esteemed graphic designer, Santahn Putakham, whose 20 years of industry experience perfectly aligned with the project’s significance. Together, we crafted a breathtaking mosaic design, where each tile represented a specific year of PyCon US, symbolizing the conference’s remarkable journey and evolution.
Adding a layer of significance, we incorporated jade green, the traditional color for a 20th anniversary, as a unifying element across the event's branding. To elevate engagement, we introduced an interactive feature—hovering over each mosaic tile revealed its corresponding year, creating a dynamic and immersive experience for attendees.

HongDae Station X Sahred Toy
HongDae Station is a popular Korean restaurant chain in Bangkok, known for attracting young local professionals. With a new branch opening soon, they were looking for a creative idea for their feature wall—something that would resonate with their crowd and elevate the restaurant’s vibrant atmosphere.
I suggested collaborating with a local artist who could bring both personality and cultural relevance to the space. That’s how we found Sahred Toy. Also known as Todd, he’s a well-known Thai illustrator and painter based in Bangkok. With over 12 years of experience, he has worked with major global brands including Coca-Cola, BMW, Nescafe, Cartoon Network, Goodyear, and Netflix.
Given the size of the wall, I brought in artists from Mad Arai-D to assist with the painting. Together, they brought Sahred Toy’s vision to life. And that’s how his art became part of HongDae Station’s story.

PyCon US 2022 - Salt Lake City
2022 was our first time working with PyCon US. The conference chair, Emily Morehouse, had an idea—an old-school retro theme. She handed me a storyboard, a few pictures, a vision of the event. This was the first in-person conference after COVID.
We teamed up with Mad-Arai-D, a sharp studio out of Thailand. Young, bold designers. Full of life. Together, we built the look—retro, classic, the Utah mountains standing tall behind it all.
