Finally. It is done.

Finally. It is done.

Ever set out to build something perfect, only to end up building nothing at all? That was me. And this website.

Since 2023, I’ve been wanting to update it. But life involves—family, work, community. Each day packed, each hour taken. The site? It became something called “later.”

I also wanted a blog. Since joining the Python Software Foundation board, I’ve felt it’s important to have a place to share thoughts beyond a chat window. Writing isn’t my superpower, but I like doing it. Just slow. Very slow. And I reflect a lot. The what-ifs. I hit backspace so often it’s practically cardio.

I wanted the site to be clean. Simple. Easy to use. But as every designer knows, simple is the hardest thing to get right. Isn’t it?

I meant to upload past work. Projects. Ideas. Halfway through, I realized I wouldn’t finish it all. Still, it had to just get shipped ⚓. Even if unfinished. Even if imperfection exists.

The first launch target? March. Too much to tweak. Then I thought, “April Fool’s Day!” That felt poetic. But the joke was on me. May 1st? Labor Day? I labored… on PyCon US designs instead 😂.

And so it’s today. Not special. Not symbolic. Just a plain, unremarkable day with no SEO significance or high-traffic timing. And maybe that’s fine.

No fireworks 🎉. No cake 🎂. Not even moon 🥮 or suncake. No perfection. Just published.
