Hi, I’m Georgi. I seldom take the usual path. Truth is, I didn’t get to have one. I taught myself what I know. Built things. Brought people together. I work where community, design, code, and meaning meet. I organize events. I build brands. I connect dots others don’t see.
These days, I serve on the board of the Python Software Foundation and lead the D&I Workgroup. I was named a Fellow, and in 2020, they handed me the Community Service Award and I thought it was a mistake. I still think so sometimes.
I speak at conferences. I work with community leaders. I help them shape things that matter, and stay standing when the spotlight fades. Most people chase success. I just build roads and see where they go.
